Healthy Lunch and Lifestyle Project
Sherwood Montessori partners with HELPShasta, a non-profit organization based in Shasta County, to provide healthy, organic lunches for our students.
It is the mission of HELPShasta to "elevate the health of children and their families in our community through nutrition, fitness, and education. HELPShasta is dedicated to the values of stewardship, sustainability, and community service."
Ordering Lunches
Ordering healthy, tasty lunches for your student may no longer be done online. Please pick up the calendar with lunch menu from the school. You can then turn in your orders to Heather in the front office.
Paying - Payments may be made at the Sherwood Montessori office using a check or cash.
Free and Reduced Lunch Program
Free and reduced lunches are available to Sherwood Montessori students through HELPShasta. You may download the current income eligibility guidelines below.
If you wish to apply for the Free and Reduced Lunch program, please contact Heather in the front office. It is very important to apply even if you do not wish to participate. The information is confidential but it is used in other funding opportunities for the school.
